On Wed. September 20th 1995 myself and 2 friends, Rob Matzker and Jon Richter, put the 1st live Internet Camera online in the State of Missouri from our Commercial Real Estate property in Osage Beach at Lake of the Ozarks. Our commercial property is currently FSBO. The camera was hosted on "The Official Lake of the Ozarks Web Site" that I helped to create and was approved by all 5 chambers of commerce and several of the 11 cities surrounding Lake of the Ozarks. Several cities actually adopted city ordinance approving the web site. We were the first to use the word "LakeCam" on the Internet to describe our cameras and webpage. In late 1998 or early 1999 I sold the web site business to Jay Teutenberg owner of Advertisnet. LakeCam is still running at the same at the same URL today. To the best of my knowledge Jay Teutenberg does not display these web pages any longer on www.odd.net and it is with his permission that I can share these with you. I did the web designed in 1995 and added some of our favorite pictures until 1998. Jay changed the name of the web site business from On Demand Data to Ozark Digital Data. Other than this paragraph, the above picture and links, URL changes, the Google search and some duplicate titles that were changed, a few notations on some individual picture's, these pages remain exactly as I created them originally. All of these pictures were displayed at one time on LakeCam as I moved the camera around our property. Note, when these pages were designed, normal screen resolution was 640x480 or if one was lucky 800x600. Normal "internet connection" speed was dial up at 14.4 - 28.8 kbps.

At the end of May 2010 in a effort to better promote the sale of our property and to increase website traffic we put 2 cameras back online from our real estate. It is our hopes that the information displayed is useful to users of this web site as well as a potential buyer. Cameras are positioned to show not only the lake and state park but to show the large amount of boat traffic in this part of the lake, with the potential for a real estate investor to make money from party cove. This Camera Page also has time-lapse movies and perhaps the most complete Weather/Lake Information on the web to date. Camera pictures are updated every 10 seconds, weather information is updated every 10 minutes, graphical lake level, flow rate and river level are updated once a hour. Please Enjoy!
